Shark Spotting..
Dec 23, 2020Shark spotting..
(Just kidding no sharks to see) i'm just enjoying some beach vibes and to say to you that when you say no to things which don’t fill you up, you say yes to yourself.
This isn’t selfish, despite what your inner critic is telling you, it’s actually a vital act of self-care and self-love.
I once said no to a date with my fiance because it wasn’t something I wanted to do. I’ve turned down catch ups with friends when I’ve been anxious, I’ve said no to working with clients and I said no to my personal trainer when he asked something ridiculous of me. I felt so good on each and every one of these and even better not guilty.
How do you know when to say No? Slow down, I tune into my intuition, does it feel light or heavy? My initial gut instinct feeling of lightness is the one I go with.
Give it a go. Does your yes/no feel light or heavy?
Your body holds the wisdom.
Oh and people who don’t respect your no, understand why you are saying it or push with resistance give you a bigger opportunity to lean into your boundary and own it. If they keep pushing – they are often not your people.
Time to start saying yes to yourself gorgeous.
You deserve it.
What are you going to say no to this week? ⬇️💕
